14-Year-Old Girl Missing for Nearly 2 Weeks Now After She Was Last Seen Walking Down Street on Halloween

A 14-year-old girl has been missing for almost two weeks after she was last spotted walking down a street in Panorama City on Halloween.

According to a news release from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), Jade Duran was seen around 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31, in the 8500 block of Sylmar Avenue.

Authorities said Duran “mainly lives in Orange County,” but may currently be traveling within Orange County as well as other nearby counties in Southern Los Angeles.

She is described as a Hispanic girl with brown hair and brown eyes, approximately 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing around 140 lbs.

Duran was last seen wearing a black jacket and black pants, and she was carrying a pink backpack at the time of her disappearance.

CW affiliate KTLA reported that her family is deeply concerned for her well-being and has not communicated with her since she vanished. No information has been shared regarding any medical or mental health conditions.
