A second teen who disappeared from a behavioral health facility in Virginia has been found safe.

The Portsmouth Police Department said Friday, Jan. 31, that 12-year-old Forever Scott “has been located and is safe,” according to a media release.

Because of her age, police had previously classified Scott as “endangered.”

Scott was one of three girls — along with 14-year-old Jocelyn Krofek and 16-year-old Darsha McAllister — who went missing from Harbor Point Behavioral Health Center on Sunday, Jan. 18. Authorities said all three were considered runaways at the time.

Police previously announced on Jan. 23 that Krofek had been found safe. McAllister has still not been located.

Harbor Point CEO Freddie Anderson said the facility “responded immediately by informing local law enforcement and the patients’ guardians” after the girls disappeared, according to NBC affiliate WAVY. Anderson added that Harbor Point is “cooperating fully with the Portsmouth Police Department as they work to safely locate these individuals.”

Elexcia Washington, a spokesperson for Portsmouth police, told ABC affiliate WVEC that a Critical Operation for a Disappeared Child Initiative (CODI) Alert was issued for Scott and McAllister ahead of the state’s second winter storm in a week. Scott was found before the storm arrived.

“No one wants juveniles out in the cold. No one wants juveniles traveling without supervision from one location to another,” Washington said.

Authorities continue to search for McAllister, who is described as Black with brown eyes and orange hair. She is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 188 pounds. Police said she was last seen wearing pink pajama pants and a tan shirt with the word “California” printed on it.

Anyone with information about McAllister’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Portsmouth Police Special Victims Unit at 757-393-8536.
