Just before turning 18, an Arkansas teenager went missing — and her parents are desperate to know if she is safe.

Hannah Osborn was last seen in Bradford on the night of Saturday, Aug. 9, according to NBC affiliate KARK and ABC affiliate KATV. Her parents, Crystal and Wesley Osborn, have not heard from her since and have made several public pleas for help.

Hannah is 5’9” with blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, jeans, and carrying a black-and-orange backpack, KATV reported.

“We want to be able to see her,” Crystal told KARK. “I mean, she’s just a few days from 18. We understand that, but we just want to see her and know that she’s safe.”

The mother described the pain as “unbearable” and said the situation has been “a terrible deal.”

Crystal also told KARK that disappearing without a word is completely unlike her daughter. “This is way out of her character,” she said of the 17-year-old. “This is not Hannah.”

Wesley described his daughter to KATV as “beautiful” and “caring.” He added, “She’s got a big heart, just beautiful on the inside and out. We just want our daughter back. But more importantly, I just need to know she’s alive and okay.”

Echoing her husband, Crystal added: “I’m not going to try to force her to come home. I just need to know she’s okay. I just need to know she’s alive. She’s not being held against her will, and that we love her.”

Since her disappearance, Wesley has shared emotional posts on Facebook, asking for Hannah’s safe return and urging anyone with information to contact the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department. He also posted photos of vehicles he told KATV were “spotted on my road about the time that she left.”

On Aug. 10, Wesley wrote: “Hannah I love you, and I miss you, and I really need you to just come back home.”

The next day, he shared that he had “been out another night, fighting to find your beautiful light.” He begged, “I don’t care what you’re doing, or where you have been, I just need some assurance that this isn’t the end.”

In another post, he admitted he is “not perfect” and said Hannah may be “upset and probably mad.” On Aug. 14, he pleaded: “If you are out there and upset with us or whatever the case may be just know that you’re not in trouble.”

“It’s been the hardest 5 days of our lives not knowing where you are or what may have happened to you,” Wesley wrote. “We have turned this country upside down searching for you, following every single lead without hesitation hoping we would see your beautiful face at the end of each one!”

The father’s most recent post came on Aug. 16. “It’s been a whole week since I’ve seen your beautiful face!” he wrote alongside a selfie with Hannah. “I’m coming and I’m bringing Hell with me! I know, they know, and everyone will know soon enough! Bring my baby girl home or give her a phone so she can call me!”
