President Donald Trump responded on Sunday to reports suggesting he might be in poor health.
In recent days, analysts and former Trump insiders have raised concerns about the president’s well-being. Media outlets pointed to pictures of Trump’s hand, which showed a large bruise, as a possible sign of declining health. The speculation grew after Trump appeared to avoid the media between Friday and Saturday.
Trump’s team also sent out an email stating, “I want to try and get to heaven if possible. I hear I’m not doing well. I hear I’m really at the bottom of the totem pole.”
Speculation about the president’s health became so widespread that the hashtag #Trumpdead went viral on X.
Trump’s MAGA supporters have defended his health. Conservative lawyer Rogan O’Handley, also known as DC_Draino on social media, posted on Truth Social that Trump “puts in more public work hours than any other POTUS in US history.”
Trump replied to O’Handley in a Truth Social post on Sunday.
“Never felt better in my life,” Trump wrote.
“Also, DC is a crime free zone!” he added.
