When Paige Higgins opened her children’s first school photos, she couldn’t believe what she saw.

The 32-year-old mother of three from the U.K. had been eagerly awaiting the final images from her older kids’ school picture day. But when she opened the online album and saw the first photo of her little ones — Blasie, 3, and Barley, 4 — she was torn between laughing and crying.

“It was the first picture when I opened the online album and I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry,” Higgins said.

Higgins, who shares her children with her partner Jack Gager, 33, admitted she didn’t expect the photos to turn out quite like they did. “I didn’t imagine them to look so scared and shocked — that’s for sure,” she recalled.

Having some fun with the moment, Higgins posted behind-the-scenes clips from the shoot on TikTok before revealing the hilarious final photo of her two children. The video, set to Drake’s “Over,” quickly went viral and has since amassed nearly one million views.

In text over the first photo — which shows the photographer trying to direct the kids — she jokingly wrote, “POV: you’re a mum eagerly awaiting the first CUTE sibling photos since starting reception…”

“I can’t believe how many people have seen the clip — it’s still gaining views every day!” she said.

Higgins, who also has a 4-month-old baby named Beri, described Blasie and Barley as having a “typical” love-hate sibling dynamic. “They were pushing each other apart while the photographer was trying to get them close together for the photos,” she laughed.

Despite the less-than-perfect results, Higgins decided to purchase the photos as keepsakes. “I bought them for memories,” she said. “I’m not sure it can get worse!”
