Sharon Osbourne revealed that she received messages from major world figures following the July death of her husband, Ozzy Osbourne.

On a new emotional episode of The Osbournes podcast, she shared a voicemail left by President Donald Trump soon after the Black Sabbath icon died.

“Hi, Sharon. It’s Donald Trump, and I just wanted to wish you the best and the family,” he said in the recording. “Ozzy was amazing. He was an amazing guy. I met him a few times and I wanna tell you he was unique in every way and talented. So I just wanted to wish you the best and it’s a tough thing, I know how close you were, and whatever I can do. Take care of yourself, say hello to the family. Thanks, bye.”

Sharon explained that she came to know Trump when she competed on The Celebrity Apprentice in 2010. She said she put politics aside and appreciated the gesture.

“Listen, when it comes to politics, we know nobody comes out a winner,” she said. “All I know is a man that I know — I worked with him for a month. I spent one month with him and his wife [Melania Trump], who was always gracious, elegant, just a delight to talk to.”

Reflecting on Trump’s personal support, she added, “He was always, ‘How are the children? How is Kelly? I’m so proud of Kelly and Jack for what they’ve done.’ … He has always treated me with respect.”

She also noted that she has “never” voted in any election, but said that his kindness toward her family meant a great deal. “He wanted nothing from us. Nothing. Melania, the same. And for him to take his time to do that for us…”

Jack Osbourne chimed in, acknowledging the gesture: “Love him or hate him, he didn’t have to call and leave a voicemail.”

Jack also shared that the family received a personal letter from King Charles offering his condolences.

“Our king is an amazing person,” Sharon said. “Not just because he wrote to us when Ozzy passed, but if he did it for us, you know he does it for many people. … He cares about the environment, animals. He’s got a good heart.”

Ozzy Osbourne died in July at age 76 following a heart attack. He had faced years of health struggles, including a Parkinson’s disease diagnosis in 2020.
