FBI Director Kash Patel has been in a relationship with singer and political commentator Alexis Wilkins for more than two and a half years.

The pair met at an event in Nashville and have been dating since at least 2023. Wilkins, who is 18 years younger than Patel, was by his side when he was sworn in as FBI director in February 2025, a moment she documented on Instagram.

Their relationship has drawn increased public attention in recent months. Patel made headlines after reports alleged he used an agency jet to visit Wilkins while she performed the national anthem at a wrestling event in Pennsylvania. In November 2025, Patel addressed speculation about their relationship in a long post on X, criticizing what he called “baseless rumors” and “fake news.”

Wilkins has said she spent part of her childhood living in England and Switzerland, but considers Arkansas the place she truly grew up. She graduated from Belmont University

Wilkins attended Belmont University in Nashville and graduated in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, according to her LinkedIn.

She’s a country singer and political commentator

Wilkins is a country artist who has worked as a performer, writer, and recording artist since she was a teenager. She released her debut EP, Grit, in April 2023.
