Seeking Sister Wife cast member Garrick Merrifield was arrested in Colorado and is now facing a domestic violence charge.
According to the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office, Merrifield was taken into custody on misdemeanor counts of domestic violence and obstructing telephone service.
Online records show that he was booked on Nov. 24 and has since been released. It is not yet known whether he has entered a plea or secured legal representation.
Just over a week before his arrest, Merrifield announced the birth of his daughter with his wife, Lorrana.
Merrifield married Lorrana, who is from Brazil, in 2024. The two are in a de facto plural marriage with his former wife, Dannielle Merrifield.
Garrick and Dannielle were legally married for 10 years and share three children. The couple divorced in 2020 so he could marry another woman, as previously reported.
Garrick has previously said he felt led by God to pursue a plural marriage, and he and Dannielle began looking for additional partners online.
Garrick, Dannielle and Lorrana appear on Seeking Sister Wife, which has aired on TLC since 2018.
