Ray J has been arrested after allegedly brandishing a gun at his ex-wife, Princess Love, during a heated livestream argument.

The 44-year-old singer was taken into custody in Los Angeles on Thursday, Nov. 27, and booked on a charge of making a criminal threat, according to TMZ. His bail was reportedly set at $50,000, and he was released later that same day, the outlet reported.

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) did not immediately respond to a request for comment, and representatives for Ray J and Love have not publicly commented on the incident.

Video from the livestream, which was later shared on social media, appears to show an intense confrontation as the “One Wish” artist and his former spouse, 41, argue. In the clip, Ray J accuses Love and others of wanting to “drive drunk.”

“Drive drunk, Princess,” he says at one point, before Love appears on camera holding their daughter.

Ray J and Love share two children: 7-year-old daughter Melody Love and 5-year-old son Epik Ray.

As the dispute escalates, Love can be heard saying, “Ray, you just pointed a gun,” to which he responds, “Drive drunk, Princess. Go ‘head. You wanna take my kids? You and ‘yo drunk cousin?”

Ray J then refers to Love and her cousins as “alcoholics.” When he questions who will be driving if they leave, Love replies, “I’m not driving! You just pointed a gun at us.” Ray J responds, “I didn’t point nothing at y’all.”

He later questions why Love woke their daughter up, and she replies that “all I wanted to do was have a good Thanksgiving.”

During the argument, Princess also accuses the “Wait a Minute” singer of being “a woman abuser.”

At another point in the video, she says, “I called the police,” prompting Ray J to respond, “I’ll shoot the f—ing police.”

The outlet also reported that the clip shows Ray J holding a gun and saying, “If these n—– step foot close to this door I’m going to blow this f—ing s— away, bro.”

Ray J and Princess Love married in 2016. In February 2024, Love filed for divorce from the musician for the fourth time.
