Newly shared footage appears to show the moment two West Virginia National Guard members were shot in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday.

The short clip, published by The Wall Street Journal, captures part of the attack on Sarah Beckstrom, 20, and Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe, 24, near the White House.

The footage — which seems to consist of live photos recorded on an iPhone — shows one National Guardsman running down the street while the suspected gunman, identified as Rahmanullah Lakanwal, holds a revolver. A guardsman can then be heard firing several shots.

In the final frame, the guardsmen are seen lying on the ground. Newsweek has not independently verified the video.

On Thursday evening, President Donald Trump announced that Beckstrom had died from her injuries. Wolfe remains hospitalized in critical condition.
