A Texas woman is facing criminal charges after authorities say she inserted razor blades into baked goods at two Walmart locations in Biloxi, Mississippi.
Camille Benson, 33, was arrested on Tuesday, Dec. 16 after razor blades were discovered in a banana nut muffin and several loaves of bread at the stores, according to local outlet WLOX. Police said Benson has been charged with attempted mayhem, and her bond was set at $100,000, according to a police press release.
“On December 15, 2025 the Biloxi Police Department responded to a retail location in the 2600 Block of CT Switzer Sr. Dr. Biloxi, MS, 39531 in response to patrons finding razor blades in loaves of bread that were displayed for sale located inside of the store,” police said in a statement. They added, “On the same date Biloxi Police Officers also responded to the 2000 Block of Pass Rd. for the same complaint.”
Lt. Candace Young said customers reported finding blades at a Walmart Supercenter and a Walmart Neighborhood Market, according to the Associated Press.
Store staff told investigators they first received a report on Dec. 5, after a customer allegedly found a razor blade in a loaf purchased from the Walmart Supercenter, WLOX reported. A second report followed on Dec. 8 involving bread bought at the Walmart Neighborhood Market. After checking inventory, employees reportedly located additional loaves containing razor blades.
Police said they identified a person of interest by reviewing surveillance video. In the footage, Benson was seen leaving the store while carrying a white bag, according to WLOX.
