Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet steal the spotlight in a new holiday family photo shared by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Meghan posted the festive snapshot to her Instagram on Friday, Dec. 19, writing, “Happy Holidays! From our family to yours.” The picture shows the family of four outside on a small bridge over a creek. Meghan bends down to hold hands with 4-year-old Lilibet, while 6-year-old Archie hugs Prince Harry. The image also spotlights the children’s red hair, which they inherited from their father — something Harry once joked about in 2023: “The ginger gene is a strong one!”
The photo was taken at the family’s home in Montecito, California, earlier this month. It follows a previously shared image of Meghan with Lilibet on the same bridge, and echoes the setting seen in a photo Meghan shared for her As ever brand.
On Dec. 19, Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44, also released a new video highlighting moments from their work with the Archewell Foundation (which is being renamed Archewell Philanthropies) over the past several years, paired with a holiday greeting.

“On behalf of the Office of Prince Harry and Meghan, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and Archewell, we wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful new year,” the message read.
Archie and Lilibet appear briefly in the video as well, including new footage from a volunteer visit with their parents to Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles (OBKLA) ahead of Thanksgiving. In the clip, the siblings help prepare food and can be seen pushing a trolley of items alongside Meghan and Harry.
While Harry was in Aspen, Colorado, this week for a ski and snow polo getaway, the family is reportedly planning to spend Christmas at home in California this year.
Earlier this month, Meghan offered a rare look at her family’s holiday traditions in her Netflix special, With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration. In the episode, she puts together Advent calendars for her children — white and red versions personalized with “Archie” and “Lili” — and fills them with small notes and treats.
“I’m writing, ‘I love you because you’re so kind,’ ‘I love you because you’re so brave,’ “ she said, as she added messages in her signature calligraphy.
Meghan also shared a few seasonal favorites, including the British tradition of Christmas crackers and a Christmas Eve gumbo recipe passed down from her mother, Doria Ragland.
