Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) sharply criticized President Donald Trump on Tuesday following the Justice Department’s release of a new set of documents tied to Jeffrey Epstein.

Her remarks came just hours after the latest batch of Epstein-related records became public. The material includes multiple references to Trump, who has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing connected to Epstein and has said he ended his relationship with the financier sometime between 2004 and 2007.

“This is horrifying,” Greene wrote on X. “Trump called me a traitor for fighting him to release the Epstein files and standing with women who were raped, jailed in stalls, and trafficked to men.”

Greene highlighted testimony from one Epstein victim who said she was “kept in a stall” and evaluated based on her appearance by Epstein and other men.

“[Epstein] told me I was fat and ugly. So that’s what he called me,” the testimony said, in part.

In her post, Greene argued that withholding the records amounts to shielding perpetrators. “Only evil people would hide this and protect those who participated,” she wrote, adding, “I pray for these women.”

Greene, once a staunch Trump ally, has recently broken with him on the push to make the Epstein records public, at times joining Democrats in calling for their release.

She announced last month that she plans to resign from Congress, saying she wanted to avoid what she described as a “hateful primary against me by the president.” Her final day in office is scheduled for January 5, 2026.
