The daughter of Academy Award–winning actor Tommy Lee Jones was reportedly found dead in a luxury San Francisco hotel in the early hours of New Year’s Day.

Victoria Jones, 34, was pronounced dead early Thursday morning after emergency services were called to the Fairmont hotel, according to law enforcement sources. She was found lying on the ground on the hotel’s 14th floor.

A guest reportedly alerted authorities after seeing Victoria and believing she “might be drunk,” a source told The Daily Mail. Paramedics were dispatched to the hotel at approximately 2:52 a.m., where they found her unresponsive, TMZ reported.

At this time, officials have not determined a cause of death, and further details have not been released. It also remains unclear whether Victoria was staying at the hotel or how she accessed the 14th floor.

Investigators have indicated that there are no signs of foul play, and preliminary findings suggest there is no evidence that she took her own life.

In a statement, a police spokesperson said: “On 1/1/26 at approximately 3:14 a.m., San Francisco Police officers responded to a hotel located on the 900 block of Mason Street regarding a report of a deceased person. At the scene, officers met with medics, who declared the adult female deceased. The Medical Examiner arrived on scene and conducted an investigation.”

Victoria was the daughter of Tommy Lee Jones and his second wife, Kimberlea Cloughley. She briefly pursued an acting career, appearing as a child and young actress in several projects. Her credits included a role in Men in Black II in 2002, an episode of One Tree Hill in 2005, and a part in The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, a Western film directed by her father.

Tommy Lee Jones is widely known for his roles in films such as Batman Forever, No Country for Old Men, Captain America: The First Avenger, and Jason Bourne, as well as for portraying Agent K in the Men in Black franchise.

After stepping away from acting, Victoria largely stayed out of the spotlight but occasionally attended public events with her father. In 2017, she appeared alongside him at the Hollywood premiere of Just Getting Started, which also starred Morgan Freeman and Rene Russo.

She is survived by her father, her mother Kimberlea Cloughley, and her brother, Austin.
