Police in South Carolina are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a teenager who has been missing since November and is believed to be in danger.
Mackenzie Dalton, 16, was last seen leaving her home in Lexington, South Carolina, in late November, according to a statement released by the Lexington County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, Jan. 2.
Dalton is described as being 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing approximately 118 pounds. She has blonde hair with highlights.
Authorities have classified her as an “endangered juvenile runaway” after the vehicle she reportedly left in and a suitcase taken from her home were both recovered. Officials did not clarify whether the suitcase still contained her belongings.
Investigators believe Dalton may be traveling with an adult man she knows, though no additional details about him have been released.
