For years, people have speculated that Barron Trump would follow a path similar to his father, President Donald Trump — especially when it comes to business. While some assumed he’d attend the same college his father did, Barron instead enrolled at New York University, a choice that many saw as a signal he may be serious about building his own career.
Now, there’s a new development that adds to that picture.
Barron has reportedly become a partner in a beverage startup called Sollos Yerba Mate Inc. The company is said to have $1 million in capital, and Barron — alongside a couple of his high school friends — is reportedly listed as a director, according to Silicon Valley.
The brand is described as a “lifestyle beverage” concept centered on clean, functional ingredients, with a focus on yerba mate, a caffeinated herbal tea that’s especially popular in South America.
Whether this becomes a long-term venture or an early experiment, it’s a notable step into the business world — and one that will likely keep comparisons to his father in the spotlight.
Donald Trump has five children in total. With his first wife, the late Ivana Trump, he shares Donald Jr. (born December 1977), Ivanka (born October 1981), and Eric (born January 1984). With his second wife, Marla Maples, he shares Tiffany (born October 1993). He later welcomed Barron (born March 2006) with his current wife, Melania Trump.
