Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) delivered a strong statement this week underscoring her stance on protecting victims and pursuing accountability for sexual predators. Writing on social media, Mace declared that safeguarding vulnerable children is a matter with no room for compromise.

“You’re either on the side of protecting vulnerable children or you’re on the side of protecting predators who prey on vulnerable children,” Mace wrote. “There is no middle ground. You’re either with the kids or you’re against them. I know where I stand, and I’ll stay standing until every predator is held accountable.”

Her remarks arrive amid heightened attention surrounding documents connected to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Portions of those files were publicly released on January 30, reigniting debate and scrutiny. Lawmakers, including Mace, were granted access to unredacted materials in a Department of Justice reading room, revealing information previously withheld from the public.

Speaking on “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” Mace suggested the disclosures were significant.

“You would be shocked at some of the names I have seen,” Mace said. “We’re talking about individuals from both sides of the aisle — famous people, wealthy figures, people in positions of power, including political leaders and media personalities.”

Mace has consistently advocated for transparency and justice for Epstein’s survivors. She has openly shared her own experience as a sexual assault survivor and has participated in meetings with victims connected to Epstein’s crimes. Following a September meeting with survivors, Mace described the encounter as deeply moving.

“I feel the immense pain of how hard all victims are fighting for themselves,” she wrote. “Because we know absolutely no one will fight for us.”

Beyond public statements, Mace has also collaborated with lawmakers across party lines on legislation aimed at improving transparency in Epstein-related investigations. Last year, she joined Democratic colleagues in passing the Epstein Files Transparency Act, a measure designed to expand public access to information about Epstein’s network and criminal activities.

Mace’s recent comments highlight both her personal convictions and legislative efforts as renewed attention on the Epstein files continues to fuel public discussion. Her calls for accountability reflect broader demands for transparency surrounding individuals connected to the case.
