Controversial comedian Kathy Griffin, 64, has stepped out looking nearly unrecognizable following her second facelift — just days after revealing the procedure in a candid video to fans.

The outspoken star, best known for her fiery feud with Donald Trump and her no-holds-barred comedy, was recently spotted taking a casual walk near her Malibu home. Dressed down in sweatpants, sneakers, and a T-shirt boldly bearing her own name, Griffin went makeup-free, her signature red hair swept back and missing its usual fringe.

The stroll was a far cry from the glamorous Instagram reveal she posted last week, filmed at her California home, where she wore heavy makeup and opened up about her decision to go under the knife once again — nearly three decades after her first facelift in 1998.

“I just think it’s weird that so many people still lie about having work done,” Griffin said in the video. “I did it. I’m not ashamed of it. And no, I’m not telling you how much I paid.”

‘I Won’t Be Shamed’

Griffin, who has long been known for her brutal honesty, said she chose to go public with her facelift to reduce the stigma and call out the double standards women face when discussing cosmetic procedures.

“It’s ageist and misogynistic,” she said, referring to how often male interviewers ask about her appearance. “And it’s none of your business.”

In addition to the facelift, Griffin revealed she also had a neck lift and upper eyelid surgery, cheekily describing the process with her trademark humor. However, she stopped short of revealing whether she uses popular weight-loss medications like Ozempic, saying, “It could be yes, it could be no.”

A Career of Highs and Headlines

Griffin rose to fame with her breakout role in Suddenly Susan in 1996, before becoming a household name thanks to her Emmy-winning reality series Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List. She holds a Guinness World Record for the most televised comedy specials aired on any network and is also a GRAMMY winner.

Despite her success, she’s faced significant controversy — most notably in 2017 when she posed for a photo holding a mock severed head of then-President Trump. The backlash was swift and severe. She initially apologized but later withdrew it, stating, “I take back 1,000% the apology.”

In 2021, Griffin was diagnosed with lung cancer, despite never having smoked. She underwent surgery to remove part of her lung, and just months later, announced she was cancer-free.

Still Standing

Now worth an estimated $40 million, Griffin says she won’t let critics define her — whether it’s about plastic surgery, her politics, or her personal life.

“I want to share these things on my own terms,” she said. “I’m not going to be shamed for being honest.”

Still brash, still bold, and still very much in control of her narrative, Kathy Griffin continues to do what she’s always done — stir the pot, speak her truth, and make people laugh while doing it.
