Authorities arrested three women Sunday night after they allegedly bypassed security protocols and forced their way onto a Philadelphia-bound Frontier Airlines flight. The incident, sparked by a dispute over carry-on baggage fees, resulted in the total deplaning of all passengers and significant flight delays at Miami International Airport.
Miami-Dade police took Nafisa Dockery, 30, Davana Cochran, 26, and Dionjana Cochran, 21, into custody following the altercation on Flight F9-1204. According to arrest reports, the conflict began at the boarding gate when a Frontier employee informed the trio they had only paid for one carry-on bag despite possessing two.
After being told they would be removed from the flight if they did not pay the additional fees, Dockery allegedly urged the others to ignore staff instructions. The women then “rushed onto the aircraft,” according to investigators, bypassing a door clearly marked as a restricted area for authorized personnel only.
When Miami-Dade deputies arrived at the gate, Frontier management requested the women’s removal, noting their boarding passes had been revoked. Despite multiple warnings from law enforcement, the suspects refused to comply. To ensure a safe extraction, authorities were forced to deplane every passenger on the aircraft.

The situation turned physical as deputies attempted to secure the suspects. Reports indicate a “brief struggle” ensued, during which the women allegedly tensed their bodies and pulled away to avoid being handcuffed.
Witness footage of the incident has since gone viral on social media. The video captures the trio being escorted off the plane amid a chorus of taunts from frustrated travelers. During the transition to the terminal, Dockery allegedly spat on a Frontier employee.

The disruption delayed the flight by more than an hour. Following the incident, the women were booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
All three face charges of:
- Trespassing on property after a warning.
- Resisting an officer without violence.
Dockery faces an additional charge of battery related to the spitting incident.
Representatives for Frontier Airlines and Miami International Airport have not yet issued formal statements regarding the breach of the restricted boarding area. The investigation remains ongoing as federal and local authorities review airport security footage and witness accounts.
