David Landsman, the boyfriend of podcaster and former reality television star Lindsie Chrisley, was arrested Friday morning in Cherokee County on multiple charges, including felony aggravated assault and battery.

According to an arrest warrant affidavit obtained from the Woodstock Police Department, the incident occurred around 1:00 a.m. on April 10. Landsman faces one count of misdemeanor battery and one count of felony aggravated assault/strangulation.

The sworn affidavit details a violent encounter at a residence in Woodstock. Authorities allege that Landsman committed aggravated assault by using his right hand to grip a victim’s neck, applying enough pressure to result in strangulation. During the struggle, Landsman reportedly told the individual they were “not going anywhere.”

The physical altercation allegedly escalated when Landsman pushed the victim out of the house. The force of the push caused the individual to fall backward, striking their head on a concrete surface. Responding officers noted that the victim suffered a significant laceration to the head that resulted in active bleeding.

“When we have a case of that magnitude, our detectives conduct follow-ups and make sure the case is completely investigated,” Woodstock Police Department Captain Ron Sinfelt stated.

Landsman was booked into the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center on April 10. Records indicate he has since been released on bond. As of Tuesday, prosecutors have not yet filed formal charges, as the investigation remains active.

The arrest marks the latest legal entanglement surrounding the inner circle of the Chrisley family. Lindsie Chrisley, who hosts the Coffee Convos and The Southern Tea podcasts, is the eldest daughter of real estate tycoon Todd Chrisley.

The family has remained in the national spotlight following the legal saga of Todd and Julie Chrisley. The Chrisley Knows Best stars were originally convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion in 2022. However, following a controversial legal battle, both were released from federal prison in May 2025 after receiving full pardons from President Donald Trump. At the time, Trump characterized their sentencing as “harsh treatment.”

Lindsie Chrisley has not yet issued a public statement regarding Landsman’s arrest or the status of their relationship.
