Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) kicked off the countdown to America’s 250th anniversary with a bang—literally—by announcing a gun giveaway tied to a MAGA-laced fundraising push.
In a video posted Thursday, Greene unveiled a contest to win an FN M249S PARA, a semi-automatic machine gun she described as “one of my favorite” firearms. The promotion is hosted on WinRed, where supporters are encouraged to donate in exchange for a chance to win the weapon, valued at over $10,000.
“America is the greatest country in the world, and I fight every day to stop the America-last Democrats from ruining it,” Greene declared in the video, which hit on a checklist of right-wing talking points. “I fight against gun control, open borders, the trans agenda targeting our kids and women’s sports,” she said, firing off rounds after each statement.
She also bragged about her role on the DOGE subcommittee, claiming she’s fighting to “blow away” reckless government spending, and took a swipe at former President Joe Biden’s policies.
“Why enter to win this gun? Because in America, you can,” Greene concluded with a smirk.
The firearm, described on the site as being designed for airborne and close-quarters combat, comes with a collapsible stock and shortened barrel—features that critics say echo military-grade capabilities.
The Georgia congresswoman has a history of blending extreme rhetoric with firearm giveaways. In 2022, she hosted a contest to hunt feral hogs in Texas, comparing the animals to Democrats in a controversial viral video.
This latest giveaway runs through September 15.
