Right-wing firebrand Laura Loomer has stirred speculation with a bold prediction: she believes Tucker Carlson, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), and Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) will soon align themselves with Elon Musk’s newly launched America Party.

“I predict Tucker Carlson, MTG and Thomas Massie will join the new ‘America Party’ to spite President Trump,” Loomer wrote in a post on X.

Her comments came just one day after Musk officially announced the formation of his third-party political movement—timed pointedly after President Trump signed the controversial $3.3 trillion “Big Beautiful Bill” into law on the Fourth of July. Musk, who had vocally opposed the legislation, declared, “By a factor of 2 to 1, you want a new political party—and you shall have it! Today, the America Party is formed to give you back your freedom.”

The move marks a dramatic escalation in the growing rift between Musk and Trump, with the Tesla and SpaceX CEO now directly challenging the political duopoly of Republicans and Democrats.

Loomer, a staunch Trump loyalist known for her frequent public defenses of the former president, has previously criticized Carlson—calling him a “fake Trump supporter.” Greene, once closely aligned with Trump, has sided with Musk in recent weeks amid the backlash over the spending bill. Massie, a longtime Trump critic and Musk ally, recently claimed he had secured enough GOP votes to block the bill—though it ultimately passed and was signed by Trump during the Independence Day festivities.

Trump has publicly derided Massie as a “pathetic loser,” while Musk has praised the Kentucky lawmaker as one of the few willing to challenge bloated federal spending.

Musk hinted at the party’s formation with a July 4th poll on X, writing: “Independence Day is the perfect time to ask if you want independence from the two-party (some would say uniparty) system.” The poll received overwhelming support, with more than 60% of respondents saying they favored a new political alternative.

With deep ideological divisions widening inside the GOP, Loomer’s prediction could soon be put to the test as the America Party gains traction on the political landscape.
