Trump Slams ‘Jeffrey Epstein Hoax’ as Latest Left-Wing Smear: ‘They’re Desperate to Distract from My Success’

President Donald Trump took to Truth Social on Wednesday to denounce what he called the “Jeffrey Epstein Hoax,” accusing the media and “Radical Left Democrats” of weaponizing the scandal to undermine his presidency and derail his momentum.

In a sharply worded post, Trump claimed the renewed Epstein focus is the latest in a long line of politically motivated “scams” aimed at damaging him. He compared it to past controversies he’s repeatedly dismissed as hoaxes — including the Steele Dossier, Hunter Biden’s laptop, and the Russia investigation.

“The Radical Left Democrats have hit pay dirt, again!” Trump wrote. “Just like the FAKE and discredited Steele Dossier, the 51 lying ‘Intelligence’ Agents, and the Laptop from Hell… this new Epstein Scam is just more of the same.”

Trump said Democrats, unable to govern effectively or win on policy, are being driven by “Fake News” narratives and frustration over his political success.

“They’re no good at running the country, no good at choosing candidates, and they’re completely out of ideas,” Trump said. “So now they’ve latched onto what we’ll forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax — another desperate distraction from my historic and unprecedented success.”

He also criticized former allies and supporters who’ve embraced the Epstein accusations, writing, “My PAST supporters have bought into this ‘bullshit,’ hook, line, and sinker. I don’t want their support anymore!”

Trump pointed to what he described as record-breaking progress during his current term, boasting, “I’ve had more success in six months than perhaps any president in U.S. history. Let these weaklings keep doing the Democrats’ dirty work.”

His remarks come amid fresh scrutiny over how Attorney General Pam Bondi handled aspects of the Epstein case — scrutiny Trump dismissed earlier this week, calling her performance “very good.” When pressed by a reporter during a cabinet meeting, Trump brushed off the issue altogether: “Are people still talking about this guy?”

Trump’s fierce pushback signals he views the Epstein narrative as another politically charged distraction — and he’s not backing down.
