A disruptive passenger aboard an American Airlines flight caused a scene over a missing phone charger, resulting in his eventual removal from the aircraft before takeoff. The incident, which took place on a flight departing from Charlotte, North Carolina, has gone viral after footage of the man’s outburst surfaced online.

The unidentified man launched into a loud, erratic rant that lasted nearly 15 minutes. He demanded a refund, berated the cabin crew, and threatened fellow passengers—all while claiming to be “the realest person on the East Coast.”

Rant Escalates Mid-Boarding

In the now-viral video, the man can be heard blaming the airline for his lost charger and insisting he couldn’t miss messages from his boss, whom he claimed was rapper Kodak Black. He also alleged he ran a business worth $1 million a year and said the missing texts were a matter of urgency.

His demands escalated quickly: he asked for a refund, then suggested he be given alcohol to calm down, and even offered $100 in exchange for sitting in the cockpit with the pilot. At one point, he removed a prescription pill bottle from his backpack and took a pill in front of passengers, later threatening to smoke marijuana onboard.

Threats and Harassment

The situation turned more volatile when he threatened a fellow passenger, shouting, “You have three seconds before I f-ck you up,” after being confronted for verbally harassing a female flight attendant.

In a bizarre moment of contradiction, the man went from insulting the crew to complimenting the same flight attendant’s appearance, telling her he “expected better” because she had “beautiful eyes.”

Airline Responds

American Airlines confirmed the passenger was removed from the flight. In a statement to the New York Post, the airline said:

“The flight continued as scheduled following the removal. We thank our customers for their patience and apologize for the inconvenience.”

The flight eventually departed without further incident.
