Former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Stacey Williams told CNN that during the time she dated Jeffrey Epstein, he and Donald Trump were inseparable—and involved in questionable behavior.
“They were best friends,” Williams said Friday night on OutFront with guest host Brianna Keilar. “I dated Jeffrey for about four or five months, and the only friend he consistently mentioned—on the phone or in person—was Donald. I have plenty of anecdotes. They were very close and they were up to no good.”
Pressed by Keilar about how Epstein spoke of Trump during that period, Williams recalled Epstein once saying he needed to “check in on [Trump] because he was unwell and very upset about something.” She added, “That was his bro. That was his wingman.”
Williams also recounted meeting Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime associate, at his New York home, saying, “She would come wafting in and out… and Trump was someone Jeffrey talked about all the time.”
The former model has previously accused Trump of groping her at Trump Tower in 1993—a year after Epstein allegedly introduced them at a Christmas party. “It became very clear then that he and Donald were really, really good friends and spent a lot of time together,” Williams said.
Trump’s campaign has forcefully denied the allegations. Spokesperson Karoline Leavitt called Williams’ claims “unequivocally false,” pointing out that Williams had previously supported Barack Obama and suggesting the accusation was politically motivated. “It’s obvious this fake story was contrived by the Harris campaign,” Leavitt said, referring to Vice President Kamala Harris.
Meanwhile, Trump has launched a $10 billion defamation lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal after the paper reported that Trump contributed a lewd message to a birthday book prepared by Maxwell for Epstein in 2003. The Journal says it stands by its reporting and intends to fight the suit in court.
