White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt didn’t hold back Tuesday as she tore into Hunter Biden’s recent vulgar outburst during an appearance on Fox News with Lara Trump.
Leavitt slammed the president’s son as “unhinged” and “pathetic” after he launched into an expletive-filled rant about immigration policy and critics of his father during an interview with YouTuber Andrew Callaghan.
“It’s totally unhinged,” Leavitt said. “It just shows how lost and out of touch the Democratic Party is. Hunter Biden is clearly trying to save face for his father—Joe Biden—who was rejected by nearly 80 million Americans.”
Leavitt went on to suggest that the Bidens need to reflect on their failures, calling them “the Biden crime family.”
“They should take a hard look in the mirror,” she said. “They failed our country. They should go home, sit down, and shut up.”
Hunter Biden’s controversial comments aired as part of Callaghan’s Channel 5 web series. During the segment, Hunter lashed out at former President Donald Trump’s immigration policies and made incendiary claims about white men and crime.
“White men in America are 45 times more likely to commit a f—— violent crime than an immigrant,” he said. “If I became president, I would call the f—— president of El Salvador and say, send the illegals back or I’m going to f—— invade.”
He also defended migrant labor, angrily asking, “People are really upset about illegal immigration? F— you. How do you think your hotel room gets cleaned? Who do you think washes your dishes?”
The interview was released exactly one year after Joe Biden dropped out of the 2024 presidential race.
Hunter didn’t stop at immigration. He also took aim at the Democratic Party for abandoning his father, telling former DNC Chair Jaime Harrison on the At Our Table podcast that Democrats better unite behind the next nominee.
“We’re going to fight amongst ourselves for the next three years. But when we get a nominee, we better get behind them,” he said.
He even went after Hollywood stars and former allies of his father, including George Clooney, David Axelrod, and James Carville, who publicly urged Joe Biden to bow out of the 2024 race.
“F— him, f— him, f— him and everyone around him,” Hunter said of Clooney. “I agree with Quentin Tarantino—George Clooney is not a f—ing actor. He’s just a brand.”
As of now, former President Joe Biden has not responded publicly to his son’s explosive interview.
