Taylor Swift Brings Selena Gomez to Cheer On Travis Kelce at Chiefs-Texans Game
Taylor Swift turned Arrowhead Stadium into a star-studded cheering section as she watched fiancé Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Houston Texans on Sunday, Dec. 7 — with best friend Selena Gomez by her side.
Fans at the game quickly noticed the duo in the stands and began sharing photos on social media. One X user said her parents happened to be seated near the pop superstars and posted about the surprise encounter.
“My parents are sitting next to taylor swift and selena gomez rn im ABOUT TO CRASH OUT,” the fan wrote of Swift, 35, who was also shown during the game broadcast.
In a follow-up post, the same user shared a screenshot of texts with her mom, who confirmed there had been a “Taylor sighting” nearby.
Swift’s latest stadium appearance marks her fifth time publicly supporting the Chiefs since she and Kelce announced their engagement in August.

Earlier in the season, she was spotted cheering on Kelce and the team on Oct. 12 and Oct. 19. She also watched from a suite on Oct. 28 alongside her friend Brittany Mahomes, wife of quarterback Patrick Mahomes, as they rooted for their partners.
Swift’s most recent game-day outing before Sunday was the Chiefs’ home matchup against the Indianapolis Colts on Nov. 23, where Kansas City edged out a 23–20 win.
The “Love Story” singer announced her engagement to the NFL star on Aug. 26 in a joint Instagram post. In the romantic moment, Kelce got down on one knee in a lush, flower-filled garden.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,” they captioned the post.

Their engagement came about two years after they started dating. The pair first connected after Kelce revealed that he’d tried to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it at one of her Eras Tour shows — a bold move that eventually sparked their real-life love story.
