Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia isn’t staying quiet — and she’s once again using Taylor Swift to underline her message.

In an Instagram Stories post shared Friday, Jan. 9, the Barstool Media personality reposted Swift’s song “Actually Romantic” from Spotify and highlighted lyrics that read: “It’s actually sweet all the time you’ve spent on me. It’s honestly wild.”

Her post arrived soon after her ex-boyfriend Zach Bryan released his new album With Heaven on Top — a project that some fans believe includes a track aimed at LaPaglia.

On the song “Skin,” Bryan appears to take shots at an ex, suggesting he wants to sever the tie completely — even if it means removing old ink.

“I’m taking a blade to my own skin/And I ain’t ever touching yours again,” he sings. “How do tattoos take to your skin? Does your higher ground ever sink in? Do you love people just to win when it’s over?”

Elsewhere, he continues with lyrics that criticize the person’s relationships and behavior: “Do you still talk s— on all of your friends?/Need to take it all to the chin this time stone-cold sober.”

Fans quickly speculated the track was directed at LaPaglia, whom Bryan said he split from in October 2024. The podcast host has lyrics from Bryan’s song “28” tattooed on the back of her arm. Their breakup turned especially tense after LaPaglia later accused the musician of emotional abuse and claimed he offered her $12 million and a house to keep her from speaking publicly about their relationship.

Days earlier, LaPaglia also appeared to take a subtle swipe at Bryan after he confirmed his recent marriage to Samantha Leonard. In a TikTok posted Friday, Jan. 2, she lip-synced to pointed lyrics from Swift’s “Mastermind.”

“Checkmate, I couldn’t lose,” she mouths in the clip while wearing a white top and a tan New York Yankees cap.

Bryan, 29, shared the first glimpse of his wedding on Instagram Wednesday, Dec. 31, posting a photo of himself and Leonard, 28. In the shot, Leonard wears a strapless white gown with a feather-trimmed hem as Bryan holds her close.

“Tougher than the rest,” he captioned the post, referencing Bruce Springsteen’s love song of the same name from Tunnel of Love.

Before the announcement, the couple fueled engagement rumors when Leonard appeared wearing a diamond ring on her left hand in Bryan’s Instagram Stories. The two were first spotted together in July 2025, after Leonard shared photos from their time in Spain during the Running of the Bulls.

Months earlier, LaPaglia addressed online chatter about Bryan’s new relationship — including repeated comments that Leonard resembled her. Speaking on her Plan Bri Uncut podcast on Oct. 12, she responded directly.

“Next question that I got a million times: Please, what do you think about Zach’s girlfriend looking exactly like you?” she said.

“I think this is narcissism textbook 101 — that’s what narcissists do, they just go and find another version of you to date,” LaPaglia continued. “People are like, ‘Are you creeped out? Are you mad? Are you annoyed? Are you flattered?’ I am flattered, to be honest, but I dyed my hair so that people stop sending me every single picture that he posts of her.”

About a month after the split, LaPaglia accused Bryan of being emotionally abusive and alleged he attempted to silence her with a $12 million payout and a house.

“You made the women before me believe that they had no other choice than to take money from you, sign their experiences away, sign what they went through away,” she alleged on the BFFs Podcast. “You get to go skip off and sing your little f—ing songs on stage like you’re a good dude … Sorry, I’m not them.”

Bryan has not publicly responded to the allegations. He did, however, make a pointed gesture on Instagram Stories, where he set fire to a flag for Barstool Sports — the media company that hosts LaPaglia’s podcast.

In April, LaPaglia spoke about how the relationship affected her during an appearance on Casual Chaos, saying she began to second-guess herself in a way she hadn’t before.

“I was catching myself worried about what I was saying or how people would perceive me and I was never like that before,” she said. “I couldn’t recognize myself anymore… I didn’t even realize I was turning into something that I wasn’t.”

She added, “I think that’s…kind of when the light bulb went off… Someone really can have so much control or power over you without you even realizing it.”
