David Beckham is looking back on several milestone moments from 2025 — but his recap notably excluded his eldest son, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, amid continued speculation about a family rift.

The former professional soccer star, 50, shared a New Year’s Eve carousel on Instagram highlighting personal and professional highlights from the year. While the post featured many family moments, Brooklyn, 26, did not appear in any of the images.

The carousel opened with a photo of David and his wife, Victoria Beckham, 51, smiling as they shared a drink during what appeared to be celebrations for his 50th birthday. Victoria wore a blue silk gown, while David was dressed in a dark tuxedo. Another image showed the couple holding hands with their younger children — Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14.

David also included photos with his parents, Ted Beckham and Sandra West, from a black-tie event, along with vacation snapshots featuring Romeo and Cruz on a yacht. A separate image highlighted a special moment with his daughter Harper, showing the pair wearing matching aprons at a restaurant in Italy.

Among the standout moments from the year were David’s knighthood ceremony at Windsor Castle in November, which he celebrated with his wife and parents, and scenes from his star-studded 50th birthday party attended by family and well-known friends such as Tom Cruise and Guy Ritchie.

The post also featured celebrations from Inter Miami CF’s first MLS Cup Championship. David, who serves as the club’s president and co-owner, shared a photo of his family on the field — with Brooklyn again noticeably absent.

“I feel very lucky to have had the year I’ve had in 2025 full of moments that I will never forget from my 50th to my knighthood (still pinching myself) and then finishing with winning the MLS as an owner,” David wrote in the caption.

He continued, “I’m so grateful to my incredible wife, my amazing children, my friends and team I work with every single day, nothing would have been possible without you all. But as Sir Alex Ferguson would say ‘Onto the next’ ❤️. Thank you for the incredible memories I will forever remember 2025 ❤️ @victoriabeckham I love you & our kids ❤️.”

The post arrives during a strained period for the Beckham family, who have been navigating reports of tension involving Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham. The situation is believed to trace back to their 2022 wedding, amid claims of disagreements surrounding wedding attire — allegations that have been disputed by those close to the family.

Earlier this month, fans noticed that Brooklyn was no longer following his parents on Instagram, and they were not following him either. He also no longer follows his brothers, Cruz and Romeo. Cruz later addressed the situation on Instagram Stories, writing on Dec. 21, “My mum and dad would never unfollow their son … Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked … as did I.”

According to Instagram, blocking someone automatically removes both users from each other’s followers and following lists. A representative for Victoria later clarified that Cruz was responding to claims that his parents had unfollowed Brooklyn, which was not the case.

Brooklyn also did not attend his father’s 50th birthday celebration in London in May, despite receiving an invitation. That same month, he shared a video of himself and Nicola riding a motorcycle, accompanied by a message saying he would “always choose” her.

Those familiar with the situation have said attempts to repair the family relationship have been difficult. While there have been efforts to reconcile, progress has reportedly been inconsistent, leaving Brooklyn feeling conflicted between his immediate family and his marriage.
