Rep. Dan Crenshaw said Congress should move to expel Rep. Rashida Tlaib from the House if allegations that she has connections to organizations described as “terrorist-linked” are proven.

“If true, we should immediately vote to remove her from Congress. This is not political. This is not partisan. This is a matter of national security,” Crenshaw said in a post on social media.

Crenshaw was responding to a Fox News report that cited a policy group raising what it called “serious ethical and national security concerns” about Tlaib.

According to a report released by the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy, Tlaib’s conduct—including her rhetoric, affiliations, campaign structure, and ideological alignment—raises questions about potential risks to the ethical and institutional integrity of the U.S. government.

The report alleges a “recurring pattern” that it says indicates ideological affinity with certain organizations. It points to activities such as participation in conferences featuring convicted terrorists and what it describes as significant campaign payments to networks allegedly linked to Hamas and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

Elsewhere, the report claims Tlaib’s campaign directed substantial funds to individuals it characterizes as anti-Israel activists.

“Through public endorsement, co-sponsorship, and amplification, Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib has consistently engaged with a range of organizations known to maintain operational or ideological ties to terrorist networks,” the briefing states.

It further alleges that Tlaib has shared messaging associated with these groups on social media, attended events they organized, and incorporated their terminology and frameworks into official congressional communications.

The report concludes by stating that while it does not document a formal affiliation between Tlaib and the Muslim Brotherhood, it claims she has appeared at events organized by Brotherhood-aligned groups, received campaign support from donors it describes as Brotherhood-aligned, and advocated positions the report says are consistent with the group’s objectives, which it characterizes as seeking to “transform Western society from within.”
