Heidi, 61, is ready to open her heart again.

More than a decade ago, the Los Angeles native ended her 23-year marriage — a relationship she recalls as “incredible and absolutely amazing” in the beginning, until it wasn’t.

Through those years, Heidi navigated the highs and lows while raising three children. “I lost my sense of self,” she says. “I didn’t know who I was. I had to find that again, and it took years.”

When the marriage ended, she wasn’t interested in jumping into another relationship right away. “I just felt like I had so much to work on. The last thing I wanted to do was to bring that into another relationship,” she explains. The early months were challenging — “I was very busy in survival mode” — but rebuilding her life proved possible.

“Just working on me and my strength, coming up to today, I know who I am and have such a rich, fantastic life in every aspect,” Heidi says. That newfound confidence led her to take a bold step: posing for a swimsuit photo shoot for an online matchmaking profile.

In early July, her youngest daughter, Luna — a 24-year-old ballerina and social media influencer — posted a TikTok video of her mom in a on a picturesque beach in Portugal.

The playful caption read: “After being divorced for over 10 years we are helping our mom take her new Match.com cover photo” and “Anybody have a tall hot dad for her?!”

“You have no idea how far away that is from my personality,” Heidi laughs, crediting Luna and her other daughter, Zoe, 30, for convincing her to go for it.

According to Luna, the shoot happened spontaneously. “Me and my sister were taking photos, and then my mom — she was just looking so cute — and we’re like, ‘Why don’t you just get in here?’ The photos looked amazing, and we thought, ‘This could be the cover.’ It started almost as a joke.” She describes her mom as a “six-foot unicorn” whose presence turns heads everywhere they go.

“It’s hard to see you not be happy with yourself,” Luna tells her mom. “So in moments like that, when I know she’s feeling insecure, I want her to feel the way we see her.”

Luna was young when her parents split and has always viewed her mother as independent. Still, she hopes Heidi will find a partner who can be a supportive companion and best friend — especially now that her father has moved on. She’s even tried signing Heidi up for The Golden Bachelor (“Oh my God, we love to watch it,” Heidi says).

For a long time, Heidi admits she was “petrified of losing” herself in another relationship. Now, she’s ready to start dating again — but on her terms. She isn’t looking for flash or status, just someone who can connect with her on a deeper emotional level. “That person has to add value to my life,” she says.

Heidi’s Match.com profile isn’t live yet, but she and her daughters plan to make it happen — and they’re already bracing for the quirks of online dating, from cliché profile photos to awkward first messages.

Until then, Luna has one piece of advice: “Stay open-minded. Even if it’s a bad date, you’re still learning. Putting yourself out there will boost your confidence no matter what.”
