A new Gallup survey shows President Donald Trump’s approval rating went up in August.

The poll found that 40% of Americans approve of Trump’s job performance, a rise of 3% from July, when the number was 37%.

Among Republicans, support remains very strong, with 93% approving of his work. Approval among Independents is at 35%, while just 1% of Democrats say they approve.

When asked about specific policy areas, 37% of Americans approve of Trump’s handling of the economy — the same level reported in July. On foreign affairs, 39% gave him positive marks in August, a slight drop from 41% the previous month.

For the first time, Gallup also measured opinions on Trump’s handling of education. In this new category, 38% of U.S. adults said they approve.

The poll was conducted between August 1 and August 20.
