President Donald Trump struck a combative tone on Christmas night as additional documents tied to Jeffrey Epstein became public, posting on Truth Social that reporting about his connection to the late *** trafficker is “fake.”

In the Dec. 25 post, Trump aimed his message at people he claimed were close to Epstein, writing: “Merry Christmas to all, including the many Sleazebags who loved Jeffrey Epstein, gave him bundles of money, went to his Island, attended his parties…” He went on to argue that others distanced themselves from Epstein once allegations escalated and that they “then blame, of course, President Donald J. Trump,” adding that he was “actually the only one who did drop Epstein, and long before it became fashionable to do so.”

Trump continued by attacking Democrats and the New York Times and revisiting claims about Russian interference in the 2016 election, calling it “FAKE.” He also warned that the latest disclosures could damage “so many of their friends, mostly innocent,” saying reputations would be “tarnished,” before concluding: “Enjoy what may be your last Merry Christmas!”

The holiday message arrived as the newest batch of materials released in the Epstein case included an unverified rape allegation involving Trump. One document dated Oct. 27, 2020 appears to be an FBI intake report summarizing an account from a former limo driver. While most names are redacted, the report describes an alleged 1999 visit involving the driver, his son, and an unnamed woman.

According to the document, the driver said he first met Trump years earlier, claiming he drove the real estate mogul to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport in 1995. The report states that the driver recalled Trump repeatedly saying the name “Jeffrey” during a phone call and making references to “abusing some girl,” though the driver said he did not know who Trump was speaking to or who the remarks referenced.

The document further alleges that when the driver recounted the story, the woman with him became “stone cold” and said, “He raped me.” The report claims she then stated: “Donald J. Trump had raped her along with Jeffrey Epstein.”

As the documents were released, the Department of Justice issued a statement on Tuesday, Dec. 23, pushing back on the allegations, saying the pages included “untrue and sensationalist claims made against President Trump” that were submitted to the FBI shortly before the 2020 election.

The releases fall under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which Trump signed in November to compel the Justice Department to publish files related to Epstein investigations, while allowing for significant redactions and exceptions. Trump, who has a documented past relationship with Epstein and appears in multiple photos contained in previously released materials, had earlier opposed the legislation.

Separately, Trump spent part of the holiday week highlighting political wins during seasonal public appearances. On Dec. 24, he took part in NORAD Santa Claus calls with children across the country. During a call from a child in Pennsylvania, Trump praised the state and said, “We won Pennsylvania — actually, three times… We won it in a landslide. So I love Pennsylvania.”
