President Donald Trump has not publicly commented on Kid Rock’s pro-MAGA alternative “halftime show,” even as organizers say they plan to stage another event next year.

The 35-minute performance—arranged by Turning Point USA and taped on a stage in Atlanta—ran concurrently with Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show at Levi’s Stadium in California. A livestream of Kid Rock and several other country artists reportedly peaked at about 6.1 million concurrent viewers.

Early estimates suggest more than 100 million people watched Bad Bunny, 31, make history as the first Super Bowl headliner to perform entirely in Spanish. His set highlighted Puerto Rican culture and the broader Americas, featuring imagery of Puerto Rico, flags, and a wedding scene, along with surprise appearances by Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin. As the performance ended, a message on the stadium scoreboards read: “The only thing more powerful than hate is love.”

Turning Point USA spokesperson Andrew Kolvet told Fox News on Monday, February 9, that organizers are planning another MAGA-themed Super Bowl “halftime show” for 2027. A Kid Rock song played during the Turning Point event climbed to No. 1 on iTunes on Monday, topping the nearest Bad Bunny track.

Trump, however, did weigh in on Bad Bunny’s official halftime show. He criticized it on Truth Social, calling it “one of the worst, EVER!” Video shared on social media from a Mar-a-Lago watch party appeared to show the official broadcast on a large screen—rather than the Turning Point USA concert.

Kid Rock also celebrated the iTunes bump, posting on Monday evening about his song “Til You Can’t” reaching the top of the charts following his performance.
