Pam Bondi is facing backlash from MAGA loyalists over her handling of the Epstein case. Dan Bongino and Kash Patel are said to be unhappy.

Attorney General Pam Bondi is under fire from prominent MAGA figures following a Justice Department and FBI review that concluded no “client list” exists in the Jeffrey Epstein case—directly contradicting Bondi’s earlier public claims.

Bondi sparked outrage in February when she told Fox News that Epstein’s alleged client list “was on her desk.” But according to the DOJ and FBI, no such list was ever discovered. That revelation has ignited fierce criticism from within the MAGA movement, with key allies accusing Bondi of misleading the public and mishandling sensitive documents.

On her podcast, Megyn Kelly blasted Bondi’s actions, accusing her of either deliberately misleading Trump allies or failing to properly vet the contents of the materials she referenced. “It was all publicly released information that had already been out there,” Kelly said. “She was either reckless or lazy, and then blamed the FBI for not giving her the real documents.”

Kelly also criticized Bondi for staging a high-level meeting that included FBI Chief Kash Patel, Deputy Director Dan Bongino, and the sitting vice president—based, apparently, on documents that offered no new information.

Laura Loomer was more blunt, posting on X: “Please join me in calling for Blondi to RESIGN! How many more times is this woman going to get away with Fing everything up before she is FIRED?”

Conservative commentator Liz Wheeler, appearing on Glenn Beck’s show, called Bondi’s actions “unforgivable” and urged former President Donald Trump to remove her from any future position of influence.

Tensions Within FBI Leadership

The backlash isn’t confined to media figures. A CNN report suggests that Dan Bongino is considering resigning following a heated confrontation with Bondi over her handling of the Epstein files. Sources familiar with the matter say the internal clash occurred earlier this week.

Meanwhile, Kash Patel is also reportedly growing disillusioned. According to Mary Margaret Olohan of The Daily Wire, Patel has privately voiced frustration with Bondi’s leadership and hinted he may leave his post if Bongino steps down. Olohan also noted that additional unreleased documents have only deepened internal dissatisfaction.

“Source close to DOJ says Kash Patel also wants Pam Bondi gone, and that he’d consider leaving if Bongino leaves,” Olohan posted on X. “Also, that there are more frustrations with other documents Bondi hasn’t released.”

The controversy has raised broader questions about trust, transparency, and leadership within Trump-aligned institutions. As fallout continues, pressure is building on Bondi to either provide clarity—or step aside.
