Leslie Davis is sharing a few big updates from her personal life.
The HGTV star — who announced her engagement to Don Reidy on Wednesday, Jan. 14 — also revealed in a blog post dated Jan. 16 that she has been divorced since 2022 from her former husband, Jacob, the father of her children.
“Well, 1,000+ social media comments later, you all have a lot of questions. I have chosen to keep this part of my personal life private, a hard thing to do as someone with a show on HGTV,” Davis wrote near the end of the post.
She added that Jacob, whom she called a “rockstar of a dad,” has largely chosen to “stay out of the public eye.” That, she said, helped them raise their three sons — Kyler, Cash, and Cole — in a “happy, loving, and stable home.”
The Unsellable Houses co-host also reflected on how their relationship has evolved.

“Jacob and I will always share love for each other, just now in a new way, we have learned to become the best teammates, to lean on each other, to support each other’s new adventures, and always put our boys first,” she wrote.
“With lots of changes, our priority was to always protect our family, which is why I have kept this part of my life private,” she continued, adding, “And seriously, who even announces a divorce anyway LOL!”
Davis met Reidy in 2023 while filming season 5 of HGTV’s Rock the Block in Florida, where he appeared on the show as a specialty carpenter.
“He worked on mine and [twin sister] Lyndsay’s home exclusively for the entire project, helping us make all of our custom woodwork items,” she told PEOPLE in January.
The two grew close during filming and continued building their relationship after the season wrapped. They dated long-distance for about a year before Reidy moved from Colorado to Snohomish, Wash., where Davis and her sister own Lamb & Co. Real Estate and film Unsellable Houses.

Announcing the engagement on Instagram, Davis wrote: “SURPRISE 🤭 Don popped the question during a snowy Leavenworth snowmobile ride, joined by all three of my boys, which made it even more perfect 🤍”
“Don, you are my safe place, my teammate, and my favorite adventure buddy,” she added. “What started as a friendship during one of the wildest experiences of my life turned into true love. We were in it together then… and now we’re in it together forever.”
Davis ended her blog post by thanking fans for their support as she steps into what she called an exciting new chapter. “Don and I cannot wait to share more with you all very soon!”
