Jeffrey Dean Morgan is sending love to two familiar faces from Destination X after they announced they’re taking the next step.
Ally Bross and Mack Fitzgerald met while filming the first season of NBC’s travel competition series and later revealed they were dating on Instagram in July 2025. Now, five months after going public, the couple shared that they’re engaged, announcing the news on Tuesday, Dec. 23.
Morgan, 59, who hosts Destination X, joined the celebration in the comments. “Well well well! Congrats kids! All the love, xojd,” he wrote.
Bross replied with a detail straight out of the show’s playbook: “thank you jeffrey!!!!! she did the whole thing destination x style, i started blindfolded and she gave me a riddle on a walkie talkie 🤣🤍.”
The proposal took place in Chiang Mai, Thailand, where Bross posted a series of scenic photos with the caption: “fall in love again and again.. forever 💍.”
In the images, Fitzgerald proposes on one knee atop a rock in front of a cascading waterfall. Bross reacts in surprise—hands over her face—before the two embrace, kiss, and celebrate as she shows off a pear-shaped diamond engagement ring.

Fitzgerald also marked the moment with her own Instagram post, sharing more photos and writing: “we’re engaged!!!!!!!!! betta luck next time boys,” in the caption.
Before dating Fitzgerald, Bross had been romantically linked to fellow cast member Shayne Cureton, but the two split a few months after filming ended.
Bross and Fitzgerald later reconnected off-camera, in part because they lived close to each other near Austin, Texas. Over time, the friendship shifted into something deeper.

In an Instagram reel posted on Nov. 11, the couple reflected on how it all unfolded: “Fifteen months ago, we met on reality TV. It was fine at first… but we ended up actively disliking each other. After the show, we became fast friends. By chance, we only lived eight minutes apart,” they said. “A year ago, we took a trip to Finland as friends. Ten months ago we became girlfriends. Today, we launched a sapphic clothing brand (Sapphic Rebellion)!”
On July 17, they confirmed the relationship publicly with photos from a romantic Hawaii trip. “Turns out I DID win Destination X. In a shocking twist, I found my soulmate,” Bross wrote. “To the ends of the earth. I love you, Mack 🤍.”

That same day, Fitzgerald shared her own post describing how Bross helped her better understand her sexuality. “I got to know Ally and everything changed,” she wrote in part, adding that she felt “so so happy and so in love.”
Later in July, the couple celebrated six months together, with Fitzgerald calling it “the silliest, sweetest, softest, most magic-, happy-, and love-filled months I have ever lived,” suggesting their relationship became official in late January.
