Kim Kardashian may look calm when chaos hits, but she admits there’s only so much she can take.
On the Nov. 27 episode of The Kardashians, the 45-year-old accompanied Scott Disick for a brain scan after doctors told her a previous Prenuvo scan had revealed a small aneurysm. During their visit, she opened up about how things currently stand with her ex-husband, Kanye West.
“By the way, I’m sorry about all that you’re going through. It looks stressful,” Disick, 42, told her, referring to West, 48, without mentioning him by name. “I mean, I see some of the stuff, and it’s like, f—.”
“It is hard,” Kim replied.
In a confessional, producers noted that West is “very loud out there right now,” and Kim explained, “I just can’t really engage. I think it’s just for the better.”
She then gave Disick more context about where she and West stand as co-parents to their four children — North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6 — and said the rapper “never once called” her, despite sharing posts claiming he had.
“I mean, I always encourage a relationship, but a healthy one,” she said, adding that it’s “frustrating that my character as a mom” is questioned because of his erratic behavior. “Sometimes I just feel like snapping, but I can’t. I just can’t.”

In a confessional, Kim continued, “My only focus and job is really just to be strong for my kids.”
Kim has been open this season about her complicated dynamic with West, whom she married in 2014 and divorced in 2021.
On a previous episode, she shared that she “always felt like I had a bit of Stockholm syndrome” with him and that it’s “f—— sad” where things stand now.
“I always felt really bad and always protected and always wanted to help [him],” she said in a confessional. She recalled thinking, “I should’ve stuck it out” or “I could’ve helped,” but explained that she’s reached a place where she no longer feels “that responsibility personally.”
The emotional strain of dealing with her ex’s outbursts has also taken a physical toll. Kim revealed on the show that the stress coincided with the return of her psoriasis.
“I was pretty tested, I will say. Very tested,” she admitted. “I mean, I have psoriasis again.”
The SKIMS founder also reflected on the impact all of this has on her children, noting that she’d previously managed to shield them from their dad’s behavior. This time, though, one of her kids — presumably North — “knew what was happening.”
“My poor kids. Everyone around can handle it, but like… protect my babies,” she said. “They’re gonna know things. They’re gonna grow up. They’re gonna see. So my job as a mom is to just make sure that at a time when that behavior is happening, is just to make sure that they are protected.”
New episodes of The Kardashians premiere Thursdays on Hulu.
