Kristen Stewart and her wife Dylan Meyer are reportedly planning a major relocation just months after tying the knot. According to Star magazine, the couple—who married in April—is considering leaving Los Angeles behind to start a new life in Europe, with France emerging as their top choice.
An insider close to the couple told Star the decision is a “bittersweet” one. While the two enjoy an active social life and strong circle of friends in L.A., they believe Europe offers better long-term opportunities, particularly for their careers and future family plans.
“They’ve come to realize their future lies in Europe,” the source said, noting that Stewart feels especially connected to France. She’s worked extensively with French directors and producers and is reportedly “taken more seriously” as both an actress and filmmaker there.
Although the move is rooted in professional growth and long-term vision, it’s not without some emotional weight. “Kristen and Dylan are extremely social people,” the insider added. “They love hosting and spending time with their tight-knit group of friends in L.A., so leaving that behind won’t be easy.”
However, their sights are set on building a more fulfilling life abroad. According to the report, the couple hopes to raise a family in Europe, and feel that Los Angeles no longer fits the lifestyle they envision. “It’s not just about a change of scenery,” the source explained. “It’s about a deeper, more rewarding lifestyle—and they’re completely aligned in that decision.”
