Lady Gaga gave fans a scare Saturday night after taking a dramatic tumble during her Mayhem Ball residency at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena — but in true Gaga fashion, she got right back up and carried on as if nothing happened.
The 39-year-old Born This Way superstar was in the middle of performing Vanish Into You when her long, glittering cape got caught under her knee-high boots. The snag caused her to lose balance and crash onto the stage, landing heavily on her hip.
Audience members gasped as the fall played out in real-time — and within seconds, phones were out capturing the unexpected moment.
But Gaga didn’t miss a beat.
With the help of her bodyguards, she was back on her feet in seconds, smiling through the mishap. She continued singing without pause and even leaned down to greet fans at the front row — a move that drew loud cheers and admiration from the crowd.
Fans later posted videos of the incident on social media, flooding the comment sections with concern and praise.
“Omg her hip — hope she’s okay,” one fan wrote.
“Gaga take care, we still want to see you on tour!” added another.
Many speculated that the combination of a slick stage and her high boots may have contributed to the fall.
Gaga’s 2025 world tour kicked off just last week in Paradise, Nevada, and will run through January 2026, wrapping with a final show in Tokyo. She’s slated to perform four sold-out shows at London’s O2 Arena this fall, followed by a performance in Manchester.
Just days before the Vegas incident, Gaga honored the late rock icon Ozzy Osbourne during a San Francisco show. Wearing a top emblazoned with his face, she performed Crazy Train with her dancers, headbanging and bowing together in tribute to Osbourne, who died on July 22 at age 76.
If one thing’s clear, it’s that Lady Gaga’s resilience — and showmanship — remain unmatched.
