Lori Loughlin is still carrying deep frustration toward her estranged ex, Mossimo Giannulli, according to a source.
“Lori is still extremely angry with him,” the source says of the former couple, whose split was confirmed in October. Since parting ways, Loughlin, 61, and Giannulli, 62, have been living “separate lives,” a second source adds.
Even so, another insider says Giannulli continues to speak highly of Loughlin.
“He thinks she’s a lovely person and an incredible mom,” the insider says, adding, “He wants everything resolved quietly.”
In October, it was confirmed that the pair were ending their relationship after nearly 30 years of marriage. At the time, Loughlin’s representative said the two were “taking a break from their marriage,” adding that “there are no legal proceedings at this time.”

Soon after, another source said the relationship never truly bounced back after the pressure and fallout of the college admissions scandal.
In May 2020, Loughlin and Giannulli pleaded guilty to wire and mail fraud after they were accused of paying $500,000 to a college consultant who falsely designated their daughters, Olivia Jade Giannulli and Isabella Rose Giannulli, as recruits to the University of Southern California’s crew team. Neither daughter participated in the sport.
Loughlin and Giannulli later served prison time — two months for Loughlin and five months for Giannulli.
“Things have never been the same after weathering the college admission fallout and the prison sentences together,” the source says, adding that the two were “moving on with separate priorities.”
“Lori feels betrayed,” the source adds. “They’re in very different places right now, and it’s unlikely that they’ll find their way back together.”
Loughlin’s anger, another insider claims, isn’t happening in isolation. In late October, a source said many of her friends are also upset with Giannulli and have been firmly supporting her through the split.
“She has a good group of friends. A lot of her friends are also divorced and have gone through the same thing she currently is,” the source says. “They’re rallying behind her, and they do not like him.”
Requests for comment were sent to Giannulli and a representative for Loughlin, but there was no immediate response.
On Oct. 20, Loughlin’s former Full House costar John Stamos spoke openly about the breakup on the Good Guys podcast — and did not hold back.
“She put up with a lot over the years of this guy,” Stamos said.
“She’s just devastated. For a girl who has lived her life really well, a good person, a good mother, a good wife — I know all this for a fact — to be thrown into now this separation and, you know, exploding, blowing up her family this way… I just hate to see her go through this. I really do.”
