Mark Epstein, the brother of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, made headlines this week after offering a provocative response during an interview with Don Lemon. Appearing on Lemon’s LIVE at 5 podcast, Mark Epstein was asked point-blank whether he believed former President Donald Trump had his brother killed — and while he stopped short of a direct accusation, his answer stunned many.

Lemon, referencing recent controversial statements by the Trump-aligned Justice Department dismissing the existence of a so-called “Epstein client list,” pressed Epstein about his views on the circumstances surrounding his brother’s death. The DOJ’s announcement, which denied any significant files or client list tied to Epstein, has reignited public scrutiny and reportedly sparked internal backlash—putting pressure on Attorney General Pam Bondi.

During the interview, Lemon dropped all pretense and asked the question directly:
“Are you saying Donald Trump had your brother murdered?”

Mark Epstein responded:

“I’m not saying that. I’m saying if that’s what it was, I wouldn’t be surprised.”

Throughout the interview, Mark suggested that Trump’s allies—including former Attorney General Bill Barr, Kash Patel, and Pam Bondi—may be involved in a cover-up, stating, “They all work for Donald Trump… so who are they covering up for?”

He went on to claim that his brother Jeffrey had damaging information on Trump, recounting that Jeffrey once told him in 2016, “If I said what I know, they’d have to cancel the election.” While Mark Epstein admitted he was never told the specifics, he insisted the threat Jeffrey posed was real.

“Steve Bannon said the only person he feared, for Donald Trump’s sake, was Jeffrey Epstein. Why? Do you think Jeffrey was going to beat him up? No—it’s because of what Jeffrey knew.”

Mark’s remarks have sparked a fresh wave of speculation and debate about the nature of Epstein’s 2019 death, which was officially ruled a suicide in federal custody. Many remain skeptical, pointing to numerous irregularities and the high-profile names linked to Epstein’s social circle.

While Mark Epstein didn’t accuse Trump outright, his comments suggest deep suspicions about the former president’s potential involvement—or, at the very least, about whether those in Trump’s orbit may have helped suppress the truth.
