Meghan Markle’s First As Ever Launch of 2026 Features a Bookmark She Designed Herself

Meghan Markle is starting 2026 by widening the product lineup for her As ever brand.

On Jan. 13, the Duchess of Sussex introduced the label’s first release in a new category: a limited-edition leather bookmark she designed, along with a bundled “Moment to Unwind” set. It’s her first product drop of the year, following a stretch of quieter behind-the-scenes shifts across the brand and her broader business projects.

The bookmark — stamped in gold with the words “Fell asleep here” in Meghan’s signature handwriting — is handmade from sustainably sourced, vegetable-tanned leather and priced at $18. Measuring 2.75 by 1.5 inches, it’s produced in the U.K., a subtle nod to a chapter of life the Duke and Duchess of Sussex lived before stepping back from their royal roles in 2020. They now live in Montecito, California, with their children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4.

The bookmark appeared to sell out within 10 minutes of launching on the As ever website.

As ever debuted in 2025 as a curated line of shelf-stable food items, and has since expanded into wine, candles, and collaborative releases — many of which have sold out quickly. The bookmark also reflects Meghan’s longtime interest in calligraphy, a skill she once pursued professionally, and it features the brand’s logo, which she has previously described as a personal symbol connected to her relationship with Prince Harry.

Also released on Jan. 13, the “Moment to Unwind” set ($64) pairs the new bookmark with peppermint tea and sage honey with honeycomb, framing the drop as a quiet-luxury offering inspired by “Meghan’s take on starting the new year off right.”

Promotional images show the bookmark tucked into a copy of The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse by British author Charlie Mackesy, echoing the reflective mood she teased ahead of the launch. “For the chapters you want to savor most,” she wrote on Instagram.

The launch follows a busy, transitional close to 2025 for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Late last year, their global PR chief Meredith Maines left her role, prompting a reshuffle of communications as Meghan continues to guide As ever’s growth. The couple also revamped their philanthropic operation, rebranding the Archewell Foundation under a new name as part of a broader reset.

Meghan ended the year with her Netflix holiday special, though there’s been no update on a third season of With Love, Meghan. For now, her focus appears to be on expanding the tangible, consumer-facing side of her portfolio and building on As ever’s steady run of sell-out product releases.

In March 2025, Meghan reflected on how she views her work with the brand.

“I see myself as an entrepreneur and a female founder, and if the brand ends up influential, then that’s great,” she said.
