Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara’s family just got a little bigger.
The pop singer, 32, and the Spy Kids actor, 33, have welcomed their third child together — a daughter — born via surrogate on Jan. 18, 2026.
“Our baby girl Mikey Moon Trainor has finally made it to the world thanks to our incredible, superwoman surrogate,” Trainor shared in a Jan. 20 Instagram post. “We are forever grateful to all the doctors, nurses, teams who made this dream possible. We had endless conversations with our doctors in this journey and this was the safest way for us to be able to continue growing our family.”
Trainor added that the couple is soaking in the moment as a family of five. “We are over the moon in love with this precious girl,” she wrote, sharing that sons Riley, 4, and Barry, 2, were especially thrilled — and even helped choose their baby sister’s middle name. “We are going to enjoy our family time now, love you all.”

Trainor — whose seventh album, Toy With Me, is set to release April 24 — and Sabara married in 2018 and have been open for years about wanting a big family.
In a 2021 interview, Trainor said she was ready to grow her family even more. “I’m ready for three more kids!”
And in 2023, while expecting her younger son Barry, the “All About That Bass” singer — who wrote the parenting book Dear Future Mama — shared how motherhood had reshaped her in ways she didn’t expect.

“Each kid’s going to bring a new version of me that I think is going to be badass — so I need four, at least!” she said at the time.
Trainor continued talking about expanding her family with Sabara — and her hopes of welcoming a daughter — in a February 2025 feature.

“Where I am right now is far beyond anything I could have ever dreamed of,” she said then. “I always wanted a family. Check. Now I need some daughters. But I never thought I could be a pop star because I didn’t believe in myself. Now 19-year-old Meghan putting out ‘All About that Bass’ is stoked; she’s so proud, like, ‘I didn’t know you could do that.’ It took 10 years to become brave, but I’m finally thriving.”

In that same interview, she explained how motherhood also changed her career — not by slowing it down, but by giving it new purpose.
“When I became a mom, my career had a whole new life,” Trainor said. “I had a whole reboot, and it’s because my kids made me want to be the best version of me … I’m not peaking. I’ve just begun.”
