Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison was arrested in Florida on a misdemeanor trespassing charge.
Addison, 23, was taken into custody around 3:45 a.m. Monday, Jan. 12 in Tampa and later released after posting $500 cash bond, according to Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office arrest records. The location listed in the records matches the address of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa.
He was booked on a misdemeanor charge of trespassing in an occupied structure or conveyance.
Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell told reporters on Tuesday, Jan. 13 that he didn’t want to speculate about what led to the arrest.
“I don’t wanna speculate on that in any way, shape or form,” he said, according to CBS Sports. “I do think we’ve gotta get as many facts and find out exactly what happened. Speculating at this point would be incredibly premature for me.”

Addison’s representatives also commented in a post shared to X on Tuesday.
“On Jordan’s behalf, his legal team has already initiated the investigation, identified witnesses, and we are reviewing the viability of a claim for false arrest,” Younger & Associates wrote. “He looks forward to the legal process and upon full investigation, we are confident Mr. Addison will be exonerated.”
Addison was previously arrested on a DUI charge in 2024, which led to his suspension during the first three games of the 2025 NFL season, CBS Sports reported.

He ultimately pleaded guilty to a reckless driving charge, and was sentenced to 12 months probation and ordered to pay a fine, ESPN reported.
The previous year, he was cited but not arrested for driving 140 mph in a 55 mph zone in Minnesota.
Addison was the Vikings’ first-round draft pick in April 2023, selected No. 23 overall out of the University of Southern California.
