“On the day she disappeared, she was wearing a two-piece swimsuit with rhinestones, yellow beach shoes, and red bone-rimmed sunglasses,” Lifeline Hellas noted. The alert for Bourda was issued on Saturday, Aug. 2.
Bourda reportedly lived in the city of Serres in Macedonia with her husband, who is of Greek origin, Sky News reported.
According to The Standard, she is believed to have gone missing while her husband was asleep on a sunbed. Her belongings were left on the beach.
Kavala’s central port authority received reports of her disappearance on the evening of Aug. 1, Sky News added.
The Hellenic Coast Guard and local police are searching both onshore and offshore in an effort to locate her.
“Her life is in danger,” Lifeline Hellas emphasized in the missing persons report, urging anyone with information to contact their Silver Alert service via the Greek SOS Line 1065.
