A 31-year-old mother from North Carolina has been missing for nearly a week, and her family is frantic — especially because she is known to be devoted to her 2-year-old son.
Frezja Matisse Baker, 31, was last seen at 1323 Lasalle Street in Charlotte at 9:52 p.m. local time on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025, according to a news release from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD).
She was driving a gray-blue 2004 Honda Accord with a South Carolina temporary license plate, number HBL5984A. Both Baker and the vehicle are still missing.
Family members told NBC affiliate WCNC that she was last seen with a man they described as an associate, but did not share further details.
Police have said the case remains an active investigation and that all currently available information is included in their official press release.
Frezja’s brother, Fred Baker, said she dropped her young son off at their grandparents’ home after a dentist appointment on Thursday, according to CBS affiliate WBTV.

Around 10:30 p.m., he said she called to say she was about an hour away, but no one has heard from her since, ABC affiliate WSOC-TV reported.
“My sister never came home,” Fred told the outlet. “She always come home to check on her kid.”
Frezja is described by authorities as a Black woman who is 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs about 180 lbs., and has black hair and brown eyes.
According to the CMPD, she was last seen wearing a black long-sleeve shirt with the word “Panthers” written on the chest in white and blue lettering, along with dark-colored leggings and white shoes. She was also carrying a black purse with a gold-colored strap.
Anyone with information about Frezja or the whereabouts of her vehicle is urged to call 911 immediately, according to the CMPD.
“I just want my baby home, I just want her home, I just want her home, in good health and good, that’s all,” Frezja’s mother said, according to WSOC-TV.
