New York Jets cornerback Kris Boyd, 29, was injured in a shooting early Sunday morning outside a Manhattan restaurant on Nov. 16.
According to a spokesperson from the New York Police Department (NYPD), officers responded around 2:09 a.m. to a 911 call reporting that a man had been shot in front of 156 West 38th Street. Upon arrival, police located a 29-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was transported to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition.

The shooting occurred near the fine dining restaurant Sei Less NYC. Authorities said no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
In a brief statement, a spokesperson for the New York Jets said they are aware of the incident involving Boyd and declined to provide additional details.
Boyd was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2019 NFL Draft following his college career with the Texas Longhorns from 2015 to 2018. He signed with the Jets in 2025.
