North West Debuts Bridge Piercing and Rocks Black Grills and a 106-Carat Diamond Pendant in New TikTok Videos

North West is embracing another dramatic style moment.

The 12-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West appeared in several TikTok videos posted Saturday, Jan. 3, on the shared “Kim and North” account, where she showed off what looked like a bridge piercing.

The piercing — a horizontal bar across the bridge of the nose — is likely not permanent. North has previously experimented with faux piercings and temporary tattoos as part of her evolving personal style, which has often drawn public attention and debate.

In the new clips, North and a friend danced and lip-synced while wearing multiple silver, ball-shaped facial piercings. The eldest of Kardashian’s four children also debuted what appeared to be black grills, adding to the edgy look. She previously wore sparkly, pointed grills during the Christmas holiday.

Along with the piercings, North accessorized her outfit with a striking diamond skull pendant — a 106-carat gift from her mother. She paired the statement necklace with an oversized Balenciaga jersey, a pleated mini skirt, tights, and fuzzy boots. Metallic accents, including spiked cuff bracelets and a black shoulder bag, tied the outfit together.

Adding a final splash of color, North wore her long blue hair, a look she’s been sporting frequently on social media in recent weeks.

North has showcased a variety of bold fashion choices over the past year, including a corset-inspired outfit last August. She has also shared moments featuring bleached eyebrows, faux facial modifications, and a real finger dermal piercing.

While her style experiments have sparked criticism from some observers, Kardashian has said her daughter remains unfazed. Speaking during an October episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, Kardashian described North as confident and self-assured.

“She’s really mature in one sense,” Kardashian said. “She’ll say, ‘Mom, I saw this, and I don’t really care that they don’t like my blue hair or this or that.’ She’s really confident.”

Kardashian has also credited her daughter with influencing her own approach to fashion. In a September TikTok for Complex Style, the SKIMS founder praised North’s creativity and self-expression.

“She teaches me a lot,” Kardashian said. “She has a really unique style. She puts me on to so many brands — she just loves what she loves.”

“It’s really fun to see someone be so creative,” she added, “and also know herself so well.”
