Aashian “Aashi” Makan has been missing for nearly two weeks, and authorities say she is considered “at risk” due to her medical condition.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 27-year-old Aashian “Aashi” Makan, who has now been missing for 12 days.

Makan was last seen on the morning of Thursday, July 10, in the 26300 block of West Plata Lane in Calabasas, California—an area that includes the Las Virgenes Villages apartment complex, according to KTLA.

Authorities say Makan is considered “at risk” due to a mental health condition that requires regular medication. Her family has expressed deep concern for her safety.

She is described as an Asian woman, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing about 80 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a tan or beige sweatshirt, black leggings, and light pink tennis shoes.

The Sheriff’s Department issued a statement on Sunday, July 20, confirming they are still actively searching for Makan and urging anyone with information to come forward.

“Ms. Makan’s family is concerned for her well-being as she suffers from a mental health disorder and requires medication,” the department said in a public alert shared to Facebook.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Missing Persons Detail at (323) 890-5500.
